AAF Vertical/Horizontal Indoor Direct-Exhaust Kitchen Exhaust Purification Units

Designed for electric cooktops, the AAF grease exhaust purification system enables indoor recirculation and purification without the need for exhaust ducts—a solution ideal when traditional exhaust ventilation systems are too costly or simply cannot be installed. This effectively eliminates the need to extend exhaust ducts to the outdoors. Whether due to technical limitations of building structures, regulatory requirements for historic buildings or preservation projects, or property owners’ concerns about compromising building aesthetics or the risk of odor pollution—the AAF system effortlessly resolves all these challenges.
The AAF grease exhaust purification system utilizes high-efficiency filtration technology to effectively remove particulates and odors. The treated air is clean and can be reused as fresh air.

Note: Ventilation Design
Space ventilation (minimum fresh air supply) must comply with local regulations based on the installed cooking equipment. The space must be adequately ventilated. Exhaust air volume must be at least 10% of the equipment’s exhaust airflow. Systems without ventilation hoods recirculate heat generated by cooking equipment back into the room. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the HVAC design includes sufficient cooling capacity (tonnage) to handle this additional heat gain. The recommended additional cooling tonnage required (considering sensible heat only). MORK can provide site-specific load calculation support.
Characteristics

The AAF system can be installed either on the floor or suspended from the ceiling, offering flexibility in equipment layout. The AAF system allows you to establish a restaurant at any location of your choice. Unlike traditional exhaust systems, it prevents cooking fumes generated in commercial kitchens from being released into the atmosphere, effectively addressing the challenges of grease emissions and odor complaints. The standard color is light gray, but alternative colors are available according to the RAL color chart; please consult the factory for details. Remote monitoring (optional): Equipped with the SDCS IoT platform, it features advanced 24/7 remote monitoring capabilities, providing real-time insights into equipment operation. AAF systems are easy to retrofit or relocate. Grease exhaust purification and odor removal efficiency have been verified through independent testing. Noise levels are controlled via the fan unit and silencer to meet local regulatory requirements.
