Problem Description
GOLOMICI is the first Italian restaurant launched by the wildly popular baking brand FASCINO. It is dedicated to recreating authentic Italian country flavors, sourcing premium ingredients, and delivering the ultimate culinary experience. As a high-quality restaurant that prioritizes style and ambiance, GOLOMICI focuses not only on the dishes themselves but also on the comfort and elegance of the overall dining environment. However, opening a Western-style kitchen in a city’s central business district or a sophisticated commercial space often presents practical challenges, such as the lack of external exhaust ducts, compact layouts, and the impact of heat and cooking fumes on the dining experience. How to efficiently address the issues of cooking fumes, odors, and heat without compromising design aesthetics or spatial quality has become key to creating an ideal dining space.
Solution
To balance aesthetics and functionality, GOLOMICI opted to install the MORK ductless recirculating range hood. This unit requires no external exhaust ductwork and utilizes multi-stage high-efficiency purification technology. Equipped with an advanced air recirculation and purification system, it effectively removes hot air generated during Western cuisine preparation and baking while significantly reducing the spread of food odors. The filtered air is then recirculated directly into the dining area.

To address the large amounts of hot air generated during baking and grilling, MORK employs a composite, multi-stage, high-efficiency filtration process that effectively removes water vapor, grease, and smoke particles released from cooking utensils, while significantly reducing odor emissions.
The system is equipped with an EC variable-speed fan control system that offers three speed settings to maintain a constant recirculation airflow, saving energy, reducing operating costs, minimizing noise, and enhancing workplace comfort. Additionally, the MORK hood features drainage channels around its perimeter to effectively prevent condensation from dripping.

About MORK
MORK specializes in the niche market of ductless indoor direct-exhaust hoods. With the core goal of creating a “zero-emission kitchen,” the company is dedicated to enabling ventilation-free cooking for high-end dining, Western-style bakeries, and other culinary establishments with stringent environmental requirements. MORK’s indoor direct-vent hoods integrate multi-stage filtration, heat recovery, quiet operation, and modular maintenance, truly achieving “no smoke escaping the room, air circulation, and a space-saving design.” With its exceptional purification performance and deep understanding of the culinary environment, MORK is becoming the partner of choice for an increasing number of quality- and experience-focused restaurant brands seeking to create ideal kitchens and dining environments.
